I'm Matt Sims and have I’ve been developing software since the early 1980s. Over this time I've created solutions for multiple sectors — with extensive experience in education. I have had crafted front-end applications, server solutions, software modules and training for other developers. My experience has given me a deep understanding of software design principles, architectures and related technologies.

Since 2014, I’ve focused on iOS and macOS, gaining in-depth knowledge of Apple’s frameworks (e.g. SwiftUI, SwiftData, Concurrency etc.) and building solutions that feel native and intuitive on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

I love taking high-level requirements and turning them into fully implemented apps — being part of every step from concept to finished app.

When I'm not developing software, I like to run, and play music in a band (The Winged Pigs). I play guitar, banjo, bass, and sometimes a washboard!
